With its good-looking interface and powerful features, Sibelius allows music composition, arrangement and publishing, faster and easier. It supports plug-ins, and has many other features such as transposition, layout formatting, MIDI support, and the list goes on. It can print any symbol you've ever seen on a manuscript - from appoggiaturas to glissandos to guitar tabs. Sibelius is in the same class as Coda's Finale. It is fairly pricey, but it's great!
