Wave Splitter from ClaudioSoft is a freeware utility for Windows 95/98/Millennium and NT/2000 that allows you to extract a sample from a .wav file without loading it into memory. Our Review: Very simple, Wave Splitter can cut your wav files into two, simply by indicating the position in milliseconds and save it as a separate file. It also has a graph feature but unfortunately does not work as well as it's suppose to. This software would be better if the position for cutting can be indicated through the graph...the graph was not that informative either making cuts inaccurate. But for crude file truncations, this would be sufficient...and of course it's FREE!
