WaveZIP takes digital audio wave files and compresses them using a special, patented algorithm called MusiCompressTM from Soundspace Audio. As the files are packed, they are written to your disk drive as a new file with the extension, MCP. Our Review: A utility that compresses WAV files to an MCP format. Useful for users wanting to save space by compressing their WAV files. Apart from its ability to compress ACD and BUN audio composer files, our opinion is that mainstream users would be better off using an MP3 file converter which is a more compact, more popular format.
