SLMixer
SLMIXER gives you, the Developer, control of your Client's sound card, making sure your audio sounds exactly like you intended, every time your program runs! It doesn't matter how your Customer's volume controls are set. When your application runs, so do the audio levels you've specified! You can use the SLMixer control in any application that works with ActiveX technology, including Visual Basic, C++, Flash, Authorware, Director, Dreamweaver, and Powerpoint. (Note that although you can embed ActiveX controls into Dreamweaver, they are only functional in Internet Explorer Browsers. Netscape does not support ActiveX controls.) Our Review: An ActiveX compatible plug-in mixer. While this program does what is says (which is always a good thing), at the end of the day it is basically identical to the default Windows volume controls, and would not be useful as a standard mixer. Use if you are a developer.
