This easy-to-use program connects you to the WiredPlanet community - where you can customize our streaming music stations, get artist and song info, download free MP3 files, chat with other listeners, and buy music. You can even create and broadcast your own station! The WiredPlanet Desktop Application also works as a standard MP3 player. Our Review: A good concept but falls victim to the problem of connectivity issues. WiredPlanet is an internet music tuner, as well as an MP3 player. Has a number of preset stations, both commercial and home-grown, and allows for chat with other WiredPlanet listeners. The interface is pretty cool looking and easy to operate, with nice animations as the sub-menus pop in and out. Well worth a look, but some users might find it difficult to connect mainly due to proxy issues, as we did.
