Broadcast Assistant Pro (BA Pro) is a professional piece of software originally designed for use on small and mid-sized radio stations. Through our new shareware policy it is now available for everybody. The software works as a front-end for the very popular digital music player Winamp. Currently a maximum of four soundcards and a minimum of one is supported by BA Pro. Our Review: Required - Winamp 2.50c (There is a bug with Winamp 2.64). Broadcast Assistant Pro is not incredibly easy to install and get set up, but most people who have been using computers for a while should be able to manage to get it running without too many hassles. The interface makes the use of the program itself quite easy. This allows you a taste of what it would be like if you were running a radio broadcast station, and once set up, is easy to use. One letdown is the lack of a complete manual - but there is a BA Pro community online.
