MidiRunner is a fully integrated "Play Center" for MIDI, MP3, Wave, CD-Audio files and all others WindowsMedia supported sound files. MidiRunner permits you to play the MIDI instruments of your sound card (or the corresponding soundfonts loaded into the MIDI Space) using an external connected MIDI keyboard, the PC keyboard, or a virtual keyboard. Our Review: MidiRunner is essentially a Multimedia jukebox, allowing you to play MP3, WAV, CD Audio and more, with the added feature of being able to utilise the capabilties of your MIDI card within the program, such as playing the MIDI instruments. This great concept is let down by the execution. The program is a tad fussy about MIDI settings but otherwise it is a very useful program which delves into the untapped abilities of MIDI within a Winamp type environment.
