RandyTab is a guitar tablature authoring application. It was designed and created for the final project in a computing degree, so it had to be completed within the allotted two months. For this reason, there are still a few areas that need minor work. There are also a number of things that could be added to enhance the application significantly (keep an eye out for the next version). Our Review: A handy program for any budding Hendrix or Ray Vaughan out there that allows you to create guitar tablature. For version 1.1, the menus and setup has been smartened up but the simple interface still remains. Inserting and editing various notes, slides, hammers and so on is done easily although the actual stave display is a bit lacking in detail. Overall, Randy Tab is a worthy program, and definitely worth a look for all guitarists out there.
