S21 Player
The S21 Player is a state-of-the-art player for playback of audo/video files streamed from Streaming21's family of server products. It can also be used to play media files located on your local drive(s) and on the internet. Our Review: S21 is a fairly flash media file player for the MPEG 1 & 2, AVI, ASF, VCD (DAT) and the all important MP3 formats. The emphasis is on internet streaming but there's also support for local drives. There's a fairly basic Wizard-like set-up for adding/removing servers or URLs but, unfortunately, no real help in finding any to add which is a little frustrating. Picture and sound quality is excellent though and, with the hopeful increase in the number of S21 servers out there, there could be a lot of fun to be had. Worth a look along with the rest of the S21 family.
