Softuarium YAMP is a program for compressing audio WAV files and saving them in MP3 format. It offers both constant and variable bitrate encoding, batch processing capabilities, selection of existing or creation of new output folders, WAV files preview, creating or removing ID3 tags, filtering input files before encoding (both low-pass and high-pass filters are available) and selection of output mode (mono, stereo or joint stereo). Our Review:YAMP is a very capable converter allowing you to change WAV into MP3. It comes fully specced out in the options department with a selectable bitrate up to 320 and it even offers high and low pass filters which is a welcome addition. A simple and competent converter. |
