WinChimes
WinChimes is a fun utility that on startup parks itself in your System Tray (that area next to your system clock) and chimes the hour and/or quarter hours using wave or midi sounds. Some very good sample files are included, but you can provide your own favorites as well. An hourly melody can be turned on to play just before the hourly chimes, and an alarm is included to keep you on time. WinChimes also provides handy shortcuts to some commonly used Windows programs. Our Review: Do you love the old grandfather clock chimes? If so, then Winchimes is the program for you. It sits next to the system clock and chimes on every hour or to whatever time setting you want. Winchimes also has the capacity to play midi and wav files, so you can personalise the chime sound settings.
