MixVibes is a DJ Application and a mixer for 32-bit Windows platforms (95/98/NT). This release can play : mpeg (audio only): MP1, MP2, MP3, WAV, Ms Audio (.wma) MIDI, AU, AIF Main functionalities : - 3 views : Mixer / Media List (sound files) / Play list (event) - use of drag and drop in each view - use of drag and drop from mixer or media list to create play list in 1 mouse move - multi selection for media and event - Each media can be configured with : 3 bands equalization gain speed volume pan position in and out automatic fade in / out bpm Our Review: This stripped-down version of MixVibes Pro is still extremely fun to play with (especially playing around with the speeds), and considering it is free it is hard to fault. Mixing up to four different tracks at once is simple with the typical DJ-style interface and the drag and drop system is a breeze to use. While obviously lacking in the features of the Pro version MixVibes Free is tons of fun and a great place to start for all those amateur DJ's out there. Recommended.
