The world's best-sounding Windows MP3 player. There are lots of free MP3 players out there. And a lot of them do some pretty whiz-bang stuff... none of which has anything to do with audio playback. Mini-browsers? Gimme a break! Audioactive Player is gimmick-free. A thin-client player with studio-reference playback provided by the latest Fraunhofer MPEG decoding algorithms. And the essential tools you can't do without, like M3U playlist support with integrated editing and ID3 tag editor. Our Review: Audioactive may be the best-sounding MP3 player available but in a world of desktop speakers and headphones, most people will be unlikely to notice the difference. Elsewhere Audioactive pales in comparison to good old Winamp. It has only the bare bones in terms of features and doesn't even minimise to the system tray. If you are after the 'best-sounding Windows MP3 player' then it is worth a look. However if you area after a good Windows MP3 player then look elsewhere.
