AutoSpell is a spelling checker specially designed for online communication programs. It is installed as an add-on and is available when you create or edit a message. Most importantly, it automatically pops up and checks for misspellings when you finish composing a message and press the Send button. You don't have to remember to do anything! If you prefer to check your spelling manually rather than automatically, you can do so. Features Includes dictionaries for 8 languages: Danish, Dutch, English (American, U.S.), English (British, U.K.), French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Includes a specialty dictionary for spellchecking Internet terms. AutoSpell is Internet-smart in that it can recognize web page URLs, e-mail addresses, file names, and other Internet terms, and won’t report them as misspelled. Our Review: It is surprising how few programs actually include a spell-checker, however with AutoSpell this can be remedied. Simple to set up, AutoSpell integrates seemlessly into a range of programs, from word-processing to messaging and e-mail clients. While not as advanced as the spell-checker found in Microsoft Word, this also means it isn't as annoying and doesn't constantly underline words it thinks are spelt wrong. It is a simple question really, do you need a spellchecker? If so then this is as good as they come. NB. The price listed is for the WordPad add-on, the price varies for other software.
