If you have to print frequently forms or certificates like a health certfificate, a certificate of origin, insurance forms, bills and order forms, you should have individual software ready: it shows a dialog to get the data: address, name of the good, ingredients (in case of a certificate of origin) put the form in the printer (in case there is no special tray for it) print it The second best solution is to use Scan&Fill: scan the form with a scanner mark the areas to print on enter your data put the form in the printer and print on it You can easily setup your individual print environment: store the standard entries in files via shortcuts start Scan&Fill with the form and data already set enter only the specific data Via OLE II automation Scan&Fill can be called by other software: This software can prompt you for the spefic data or gets it out of a database, then it uses Scan&Fill to print on form. This is demonstrated by the the form filling demo (just 56 KB!)! The open interface can be used by any C++ or Basic programmer! Of course you can use Scan&Fill also to print on one time forms like the application for a youth camp of your daughter! Our Review: In an interesting twist on the form-filling genre Scan & Fill can help you fill out hard copy forms by actually printing onto the form itself. After inserting the form (via scanner probably) Scan & Fill you can then add your desired fields and save the template. Whenever you need to fill out the form again you simply load the template - fill in the fields and print away. The simple idea is matched by simple presentation but the execution isn't quite as easy as it should be (especially as the help has gone AWOL). Truly, one of a kind.
