X-ABook gives you a great way to manage addresses and other contact information. All of the "must haves" you'd want in such a program are here, all wrapped up in a clean-looking, intuitive interface. X-ABook provides plenty of fields for general, detailed, company, and business data; gives you a place to store up to three photographs for each record; offers password protection; and lets you send email from within the program. You'll also find a built-in text editor, an Internet search engine front-end, printing, data import/export capabilities, Web page launching, and phone number dialing. Now have ability to save reports in Word, Excel, HTML, Text and CSV format. Our Review: A little sluggish at loading on slower PCs - but well worth it for networked PCs; X-ABook is an address book that allows users to connect to a shared address-book database - very useful for business applications. Individual logins can be created and certain records kept secret from other shared users. Each record has a multitude of information fields, including three for photos (useful for saving not only a photo of the person but also of their business card or vehicle). X-ABook has a built-in text editor, internet search functions, email capabilities, and a separate utility program that the administrator can use to repair and backup the address-book database. Very smartly presented and Xtremely functional.
