A-book
A-book is a full-featured contact manager with intuitive Explorer-like interface. Each contact record stores plenty of data such as name fields, phone numbers, e-mails, addresses, birthdays, job and family information. You can also include a photo or a picture and specify text style and background color. Powerful search feature helps you to find desired information in the database. If you have a modem, you can dial a phone numbers, specified in the contact record. A-book will automatically redial a busy number and put your call into the call log, which is created for every contact. A-book lets you to preview and then print phone lists and complete contact details, import and export data in native and commonly used file formats (including direct export from the Windows Address Book). A-book has an ability to interface with your email program and Web browser. You can forward your contact data as a vCards attached to the e-mail messages. Our Review: Not settling to be small and featureless - A-book goes for the bold and beautiful approach; resulting in this address-book that is very easy to put to powerful business use. A-book has an interface that is very similar to Outlook Express - giving you a hierarchy of contact lists and address books with which to organise your contacts. Each new contact has a multitude of information - all the standard fields plus room for their ICQ UIN, webpage addresses, family/spouse info, and a photo. Included are some very unique and useful features - such as the ability to create custom alphabet lists (including numerals or symbols) so that you can sort your address list in a non-alphabetical manner. A-book can also integrate with telephony hardware so that you can make phonecalls direct from the address list (and a comprehensive phone-log will track all calls and durations). This address book is great - all features are very useful and the program functions beautifully.
