A calculator that produces a virtual proof tape. Entries can be annotated, edited, deleted, inserted and moved. Files can be named, saved, copied, deleted, printed and inserted into other Windows programs. Full equation and function capabilities. Decimal selection and dollar sign capability, multi memory capacity, smart parens and sub totals that display running sub totals and group sub totals. Running count and average on all data entries. Blank rows can be inserted for grouping and annotation. A complete program numberpad that can be displayed or hidden. Extensive Help file that includes a tutorial and the Help file can be viewed as you operate the calculator. Program options include Always on top, tray item, if tray start minimized, memorized screen position and program sounds. Our Review: Designed to handle streams of financial data input, Calculator Lite allows the user to view everything entered in a paper-tape calculator style. The interface is intuitive and will aid you in performing careful calculations - but should you make a mistake it is easy to edit ANY previous line and have every subsequent calculation update automatically. Numbers can be copied to the clipboard from anywhere on the 'virtual-tape' printout and various display functions can quickly alter the number of decimal places visible, or the appearance of the '$' prefix. Included is a spacious 6 number memory that allows a typed description to be entered next to each number, and some very fine help that describes further some of the smart features - very handy.
