Computer Admin Lite is a powerful and easy-to-use database for asset management. With many of the features of Computer Admin 2 but rebuilt from the ground up with a new appearance and developed completely with FileMaker Pro 5. Our Review: Computer Admin Lite is a nice implementation of a FileMaker Pro database in which you can enter all details relevant to the hardware/software present in your company. The records are laid out such that you can view your entire collection of computers, software packages, and peripherals. Computer Admin Lite allows you to track belonging for insurance purposes and also to manage site licenses of software so as to not break legal constraints on the number of computer running a licensed piece of software. Many identification fields exist in each category - including fields which can identify a computers location on the network and fields for serial numbers, CPU speeds, and RAM sizes. Detailed reports can be created on the contents/makeup of your equipment so that they can be filed away safely. Useful for network administrators that have also found themselves being personally responsible for the security of the company equipment.
