With Press Booster you can get national media coverage regarding your company or organization, new product or service, or just general company news. This is how small companies get national news coverage, and large companies keep in contact with the media. Press Booster lets your generate a press release from scratch or through a wizard. You can select from over 13,000 media contacts, journalists, newspapers, radio stations, television stations, and magazines to send your press release too via email. Press Booster allows you to use your own mail server, or even have the press releases sent to the outbox of your current email program! Press Booster is your company's main marketing, and public relations too Our Review: A virtual database of media contacts, Press Booster aids you in getting your message out there. This isn't a tool to use to tell the world that your sister has cooties - rather, it is far more suited to those with a purposeful business message; such as a new product/business launch or the employment of a prestigious CEO. Press Booster has both 'from scratch' and 'wizard' options that allow you to formulate the perfect press release - including quotes from notable 3rd parties and contact details. Once complete, your press release can be previewed and then sent to any of the included 4949 newspapers, 2770 radio stations, 1301 magazines, 802 television stations, and 3850 'other' media. Strict guidelines are given on effective distribution - most notably the guidelines pertaining to not spamming every category of media that you think your press release 'might' be relevant to. If used effectively this program could save your P.R. staff from nervous breakdowns every time a major event occurs in your company. (NB: included media contacts appear to be mostly U.S. specific).
