VentaFax (tm) is a powerful fax/voice messaging system for Windows 3.x, 9x, NT 4.x, and 2000, with features and stability rivaling the high-end products like WinFax, but without the high cost and resource drain. VentaFax is quick, nimble, with a small footprint. It sends and receives fax messages via Class 1, 2 and 2.0 faxmodems and emulates an answering machine with tone remote control, supporting most voice modems. Extremely user-friendly and intuitive, the VentaFax main control panel shows the image of page as it travels out of the visual fax machine slot. The best choice for the SOHO (small office / home office) user. Our Review: In the quite competitive market for voice/fax messaging software VentaFax is very much the budget option. It may not have the fanciest graphics (although they do have a quaint Windows 3.1 feel about them, as do the sounds) and it may not have the most features. However it does all the basics right, is relatively simple to use and at only about a fraction of such biggies as Communicate i2000 should appeal to the smaller business and personal users.
