Call Corder records telephone conversations to your computer's hard disk. To insure legal recording it can playing a legal disclaimer prior to recording (mainly for use in business environment). Call Corder stores calls as standard Windows sound files, adding a memo to allow call navigation. Call Corder can record conversations as long as your hard disk can store. Call Corder is Caller ID compatible so there is no need to type numbers and names of calling parties. The software has an option to start recording from a telephone line automatically whenever a receiver is put off. The program is compatible with Windows 98, ME, and Windows NT and 2000. Providing you have a PC and a voice modem, you can use it to record any phone conversation such as business discussions, negotiations, or just conversations. Call Corder has an option to send your recorded conversation by e-mail, attaching a sound file and a memo. Our Review: Call Corder is an excellent systray utility that, when your modem detects that the phone has been picked up, will (optionally) play a legal disclaimer and then begin recording the ensuing conversation. This is very useful for customer support-type applications such that a history of a customers support can be kept. Each logged call can have comments added next to it and caller ID information can be collected. Call Corder has additional useful features such as the ability to manually/automatically adjust the gain of the audio recording and the ability and the ability to place callers on hold (at which point a custom wave file can be looped).
