Profit Contribution Breakdown allows you to identify the level of surplus/profit generated by components of your business. By applying relative indicators to reflect the amount of variable and fixed expense (resource) a component consumes surplus and contribution levels are calculated. This component performance is combined with indicators for future potential and business ability to identify areas that will maximize current and future performance. Summary recommendations are provided for each breakdown and results presented in graphical and tabular form. This business tool can analyze any chosen component of an overall business or product line. Default breakdown is five Customer Segments and five Product Groups. Our Review: Using Profit Contribution Breakdown for the first time was quite a pleasant surprise for me - Bizpep have put Excel to good use. This is a pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet that allows you to enter data on each of your business income sources. Typical examples include a different set of data for each different product/service your company offers. The program then also collects data on how much each product costs you to provide (overheads etc.). Proft Contribution Breakdown can then generate analysis and graphs based on each products performance level - allowing you to see at a glance which of your products are head-and-shoulders above the lesser popular ones. This could be a very insightful program to use.
