SPOTS is a client-server based track anything, anywhere tool which can be customised to your specific requirements. It can be used to track defects in projects, complaints against the products manufactured by an organization, suggestions by employees in an organisation so on and so forth. The users can log in to their account and file defects or enhancements. Anything which cant be measured, naturally cannot be controlled. SPOTS helps you in productivty measurement thereby allowing you to be in control of the project you manage. Apart from this a user can be assigned to solve or verify a particular report assigned to him/her by the Project Leader, Project Manager, or administrator. SPOTS can be customised to meet one's specific requirements. All the fields in the tracking database maintained by SPOTS can be customized by you. It is also possible for you to limit and customize the values which these fields can take. SPOTS comes up with powerful reminder/warning/activity planning feature which allows project managers to really control their projects. Who should use SPOTS? And what are the benefits of using it? SPOTS is a handy tool for Project Managers and Project Leaders that helps them to keep track of the activities that are going on in a project. SPOTS helps the managers to generate productivity graphs which can highlight the Turn aroun Time (TAT) for fixing a problem as well as to find out the work loads distributed in a workgroup. SP Our Review: Spots is a well presented and nicely laid out piece of software aimed at the business end of the market. Claiming to be able to track anything, Spots certainly requires a fair bit of work to get to grips with. The interface, however, is attractive and easy to use, and the documentation is thorough.
