DBFViewer 2000 is the very small but powerful and user-friendly Viewer and Editor for DBF files(Clipper, dBase, Foxpro...). You can view and edit in OEM(DOS) or Windows character sets, get information about fields, get statistics information for each field, create new DBF database file, find, sort, add, delete/recall with wildcards, print, pack, zap records. DBFViewer 2000 does not require external drivers for connection to databases (ODBC, BDE). Our Review: DBFViewer 2000 is a neat editor for DBF files that allows you to quickly view and change the contents of any DBF format file. The programs small size means that loading large DBF files is zippy and the editing interface is very nice to work with. Moving the mouse around will highlight the line under the cursor automatically (making it easy to follow the flow of the data) and background/foreground colours can be altered for your viewing pleasure. DBFViewer also includes a statistical summary of the max/min/avg values for each category and recognises the difference between text/number/date fields when editing. New records can even be added and some simple search functions exist. This is a very handy tool for editing quickly and simply.
