The SSChart candlestick charting software runs under Windows95/98/NT (as a true 32-bit application). Historical stock data is automatically downloaded by the program from free sources via the Internet and displayed as a daily, weekly, monthly or intraday chart of prices and volume. The candlestick chart mode is the default and the most visually informative, but SSChart can also display OHLC and line charts. Most of the more popular technical studies can be overlaid in any of the three available display panes of the window. Our Review: This package takes good advantage of the free market information sources available on the net and allows for quick and easy representation of this information in a couple of well constructed formats. Excellent for trend spotting and definitely worth a trial. Major updates in this release include changes to stock-resource server connections and the ability to import stock data from text files.
