Manage your pictures/images using Image Gallery. Image Gallery is networkable across LANS, and there is an internet/intranet gateway which lets the world search and view your images (not included here). Image Gallery is a PC based medium capacity image database system (which has been tested up tp 200k pictures) but is scalable if larger numbers are required. It uses the latest in image compression (JPEG) and supports a wide range of input formats (PCD, TIFF, PNG, BMP etc...) with optional watermarking facilities and also supports all types of other media formats including mp3, mpg, asf, avi etc. It has a fully configurable database setup system including full text searching, drop down list boxes and a whole host of printing and viewing features. Our Review: Image Gallery 2000 is a full database approach to distribution of graphics to multiple users. Thumbnails are shown until high quality pictures are required, and each image can have many fields of information accociated with it. Each step of this process is highly customisible, from color depth, compression levels, choosing one of 17 quality graphics types, to categories and search parameters. Image Gallery 2000 is for those who want complete control over the distribution process.
