Travel-X is a professional, advanced and very user-friendly tool to plan, make and handle travel expense reports in the company. It handles all kinds of currencies, cash payment and payment by credit card, in advance and returned payment, Per Diem/allowances and miles refund. It also includes an account plan and booking overview with full configurable data export for the finance department, as well as extremely powerful report generation and statistics from single trips, group of employees or for the total company, in a limited period of time or for a whole year. All expenses can be allocated to project order numbers. The reports can be electronically approved with full security. All data can be defined and edited by the user. Among many features it has an advanced tracking system indicating status of all reports, individually read/write protection, and on-line currency rate update. Travel-X can be installed in network or as single user installation. In network installation all data can be protected by password, and only the issuer and the persons allowed for read/write/approval can open the sheets. This version can be tested with all functions for 30 days. Our Review: Travel-X is a superb tool that should take a lot of hassle out of business-travel. As you can see from the list of features above, Travel-X offers a great selection of features, covering pretty much all the major expenses and reports desired. Everything is accessed easily and quickly through a nice, non-flashy interface making this an essential time-saver for businesses with employees always on the move. This latest version adds a new travel-planning module (with automatic emailing to the travel agency) and a tracking module. Recommended.
