This software, the NCH Intelligent Messaging Software (IMS), plays telephone on-hold messages using a Windows 3.1, 95, 98 or NT computer with a sound card or a voice modem. The messages are mixed with music in real time, processed for telephone, and played continuously with intelligent message scheduling. You can still use your computer for other tasks while the IMS runs as an audio server in the background. Our Review: This is a very interesting piece of software. It allows you to keep people on hold using your computer and keep them happy by playing computer messages to them, accompanied by a catchy background music. The voice quality is very high and the messages sound very profesional. They all have American accents, but you can download new messages or record your own. It has timing options for different messages so you can have an after hours message, etc. A very nice piece of software.
