Notebase is an application for storing text, documents and files easily accessable using an indexed tree structure. All data is stored within a single file which is encrypted to protect sensitive information and then compressed to reduce file size. Notebase Files can be password protected preventing access to the data file or locked, preventing editing of the stored data. Using the Security features enables you to safely distribute your Information within a secure file structure, accessable ony by nominated password holders. Our Review: Text information can be stored in an indexed tree format (similar to CHM, HLP or PDF files ). Pictures, sounds, and any other files can be integrated into the file for easy storage or distribution. This program is similar to Adobe Acrobat, but without the ability to have plugins and much less expensive. Unfortunately, its install program doesn't create shortcuts and lacks an uninstall feature. The trial version can only be opened 15 times.
