Editeur is a text editor. It affords creating and modifying text files. As in version 3, Editeur uses dlls for performing syntax recognition functions. A number of syntaxes are thus handled with a single dll, generic.dll, that you can also use to define your own syntaxes. The more obvious modifications concern syntax highlighting : handling of multiline comments, handling of strings, handling of nesting levels as shadings of the background color, handling of the ASP format, optional setting of keywords to uppercase. Our Review: A simple yet powerful text editor for windows. Most notably it has three step macro recording from the toolbar which is an excellent idea. With its help you can record, stop then playback any macro in three easy steps.
