NameBase keeps track of names, addresses, phone numbers, dates, notes, reminders, and other data about persons and organizations. NameBase reminds you of dates, and dials the phone. Find any person in the database instantly by typing the first few characters of their name. Search for any string. Print pocket-size address books, mailing labels, envelopes, and more. Sort on any field, print reports in any order. Our Review: Cool personal organiser, fully-featured, easy to use and supported by good help documentation. Names, addresses and more are displayed clearly across the large viewing field and they can be sorted by almost every feature: name, address, number (1, 2, 3), mobile number, email and more. The nicest tool is probably the ability to print to user-specified lists, one designed to fit in a shirt pocket, one for the wall and so on. This enables you to make a hard copy of the records, a feature not often seen in applications of this type. It will also remind you (in detail) of important events relating to your contacts, (birthdays etc) and will easily print the record data to envelopes which is exellent for organising your invites. All in all, a great alternative to those crumpled pieces of paper your addresses are probably currently on.
