Smart answer is more than just an answering machine for your computer. It's also a caller interrogator, are you fed up of people calling withheld or just out-of-area (unavailable)? If you have Caller ID and somebody callers withheld, then smart answer will take the call for you, ask the user to type in their telephone number and then whilst showing you the callers number (and picture if you have one), gives you the chance to answer the call before taking a message. Our Review: A"Smart" piece of telephone software that acts as an answering machine, telephone dialer, and interrogator. Smart answer will query any incoming call that is not a known contact for their name and phone number before connecting them to you. Handy if you don't have caller ID, and the program also comes with 2 animated guides (a talking phone and a Wizard).
