TimeClock Lyte is a scaled-down version of our high-end time and attendance package for Unix. Like all software, it is a work in progress. We regularly post updates on via the Internet. TimeClock Lyte, by default, simply stores employee punches and calculates their total time at work by week. However, TimeClock Lyte ships with additional modules that can perform additional functions: PayClerk Lyte, Billing Lyte, and Schedule Lyte.
PayClerk Lyte calculates overtime, comp time, sick time, holidays, and vacation time. PayClerk Lyte permits weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly pay periods. PayClerk Lyte optionally accrues sick time and vacation time. It also tracks the number of unused vacation and sick hours. Billing Lyte tracks time worked on particular projects. Schedule Lyte tracks employee tardiness and allows you to assign work schedules.
TimeClock Lyte is simple for those only needing employee worked-times and full-featured for those needing the additional functionality.
Our Review: Another program for creating employees records and calculating their salaries according to specified rates and working hours. One record is created for each employee and different types of reports are available. In addition to other software in this category TimeClock supports multiple users and network connections. Interface is fairly simple, just as it is neccessary.
