It does not simply use the final balance and total investment to calculate the rate. Instead, it takes the date of individual investment into account. Furthermore, this software can also make the future projection of your investment growth. Our Review: A nice investment package, aiming to function as a kind of investment log and analysis tool. Stock Growth Rate Calculator includes memos, so that each important event in the market (like a strong or weak day or a big sale) can be documented, complete with comments. It also has a great stock and investment projection tool which, when given a number of variables, will give a "guesstimate" of total gains, balances and tax to be paid. One nice feature in particular is the "create HTML document" command, which will do exactly that, meaning that your data can be easily posted to the internet. Growth (or decline) rates can be calculated with ease, and the help documentation is very comprehensive.
