StockHistory is an intra-day stockmarket analysis program for the London Stock Exchange that stores a history of data on a selected set of shares. The data can currently be downloaded for free from Yahoo, or from ESI if you have an account with them. The stored data can be displayed in tabular or graphical form with stop losses, alerts, moving averages etc. The program is menu driven and mouse driven, with extensive help in an html file (StockHistory.html) that can be viewed separately in a normal web browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer (just double click StockHistory.html in Windows Explorer and it should automatically load into your default web browser) . All this for just 10 gbp.
Our Review: This is one for London watchers only. It has a good variety of display options once your data has been retrieved from source which leave the trend analysis mostly in your hands. The online helpfile is pretty good, but there's no uninstallation procedure and no real documentation to guide you through.
