QLinx
QLinx is for users of Intuit's Quicken and Microsoft's Excel. QLinx enables the linking of Quicken account balances and Excel spreadsheets to assist the user in creating financial reports and budgets. After defining a list of accounts in the QLinx interface, the program will start Quicken and Excel each time the program is started, acquire the ending account balances and market values for the requested accounts and then enter those balances into the Excel spreadsheet of choice. Multiple account lists can be defined and saved for reuse, and options can be defined separately for each list Our Review: This is a simple easy to use linking software that effectively enables the automatic transfer of requested data from Quicken to Excel. The software has a basic built-in financial planner and contains adequate help information and step by step examples. However, the software has limited functionality as there are few options and tools.
