Total Finger is an easy-to-use Finger protocol program that allows you to determine if someone is online or to look for information on Internet users. You can find a variety of tidbits on a user, including a personal note (a.k.a. plan), if they have set one up. Our Review: Total finger is a network utility which will 'finger' or point directly at a server you nominate. It will then return a series of information based on that server. This type of tool is commonly used by web masters to establish if a server is currently running or whether it is currently 'down'. Additionally these types of tools are a Hackers favorite for finding out about your server, so perhaps you should test your server first!
