The portfolio manager *** AkMan for Windows *** is a flexible management und analysis utility for shareholders and investors. Every portfolio you want to manage is organized in a portfolio data file. Like in a card-index cabinet, you create a 'card' for each type of stocks or shares owned. On each card you note payments for purchases, receipts from sales, dividends, banking or broker fees etc. Our Review: A rather clunky and dated interface and lack of installation are the only failings of this powerful and useful program that fills a very specific niche. If you are after a piece of software to record stocks and shares, this is for you! While the program is farily easy to understand, (for those who know the ins and outs of share trading anyway), the help files are very good, providing indepth detail into the workings of the program. AkMan is well worth the download if you are looking for a program of this sort.
