TogglesInTray is a keyboard utility with user-friendly interface which sounds (beeps or plays specified wave files) when Insert or toggle keys(Caps Lock, Num Lock) are pressed. You can select between beeping through the pc speaker or playing specified wav files. It shows the state of Caps & Num Lock in a tray (near clock), either as one icon or in separate icons. Also, you can specify to make Num Lock 'On' on start under Windows NT. Support of the Scroll Lock key was not included, because it is rarely used and many people don't use it at all.
You can select what toggle key to indicate in tray - just go to the main dialog of the TogglesInTray & specify which key you want to indicate in tray.
Our Review: More proof that you can find software to do anything these days, TogglesInTray helps out those who accidentally hit the capslock or numlock keys during typing. While we all do this, I always thought a simple look at the screen usually alerted one to the problem - but I guess that just isn't good enough for some. While perhaps a little cynical at first, I must admit the sounds produced by TogglesInTray are hard to miss and will no doubt be of great comfort to speed typists everywhere. Meanwhile, the easy setup and interface make it a pleasantly unobtrusive addition to your desktop. Why not give it a go.
