WinRider is a nice program, which scrolls your text on your desktop. You can specify the speed of the text, its vertical position desktop,change direction of scrolling - left or right, and select the font of the text, where you can specify typeface, italic, bold, size of the text & its color. Now can scroll strings from specified file. Our Review: Not quite sure why you'd want scrolling text on your desktop, could be a showroom display, or an importnant reminder perhaps. Whatever reason your may be, WinRider is definitely the way to go about it. You can select the text (or a txt file), the font, direction of text scrolling and where it should appear on your desktop, which just about covers everything (speed control might've been nice). You can then sit back at see it scroll - allright! While clearly not for everyone, WinRider does a good job, and in the extremely narrow field of background-scrolling-text programs, it can't be beat.
