Mike Gibbard's Characteristica is a replacement for the standard Windows charmap.exe utility. Features include: - Selectable font types (symbol, fixed-width, all, etc.) - Large (and zoom-able) character viewer window - Auto-scan feature (Characteristica will slide-show characters for you) - Export Matrix as HTML - Export Matrix as Images (.jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp) - Save current character view as bitmap. Our Review: Characteristica is a nice character map replacement for windows with a little bit more functionality. You can copy multiple characters which will make things easier to do (unlike in Windows). You can choose from different fonts and font types, same as in the Windows default map. Best of all, it's free!
