It's time to enjoy all those songs you've collected and the scenery to match. Clip On Boots provides you with the chance to retire those old WAV files at Startup and play some of your own songs, either a clip or the full track. As an added bonus, it will allow you to change that stale Wallpaper with your favorite pictures at every boot up. It runs as a convenient system tray application, with the ability to play a song, or change your paper at your will. It requires minimal processor and memory footprint. And the best feature of all...It's provided to you for free for your personal (non-commercial) enjoyment.
Our Review: While Clip On Boots is certainly an odd name, it is somewhat fitting for this is an unusual application. Designed to alternate an MP3 to play and a background to display each time at startup, COB also sits in your system tray and allows you to quickly cycle through songs and backgrounds with ease. While it might seem a rather inessential application I actually found the ability to randomly cylce through MP3s without having something like Winamp open a good way to enjoy music while you work. Nifty.
