IconTOY is one of the fastest icon extractors available today. This program is designed specifically to extract the icons from any file containing them (ICO, ICL, EXE, DLL, SCR, CPL, OCX and BMP). It will search entire hard drives and display all the icons. Then you can either copy a particular icon to the clipboard or save it as an single icon (16 Color, 256 Color, High Color or True Color) or bitmap (bmp) file. Our Review:This is a fast, very easy to use and nicely presented icon searching utility that scans your entire hard drive quickly and displays all the icons in one scrollable window. Then, with a minimal number of clicks you can save it either as any format or as a bmp file. If you're after an anime style interface, this is for you, and of course the interface is skinnable. |
