Icon3D is a 3D desktop organizer that lets you drop program, internet or document links onto a 3D metashape which can then be rotated. There are many different metashapes available all of which can be customized. Our Review: A very cool program that makes your desktop look like something from the future by putting your desktop shortcuts and html links, etc, on a 3D shape. This allows access to all your files with a touch of the "cube"!! Also, there are lots of options for you to customize your desktop, like changing the metashape you attach your icons to, changing the texture (any image file) of the background and shapes!! It's a great improvement from the dull 2D windows desktop, the only drawback is that it takes a bit too many resources for just a desktop enhancer. All in all, a great idea.
