The program now has logging which is enabled by default. the program can also save the log after each session, but you need to enable this option. log files are stored in the directory that the program is in and are named according to the date and time the program ended. if you are using windows98 fe, then after you make your changes in customise, you will need to reboot for the changes to take effect. if your on windows98 se then the changes should take effect within 10 seconds. the changing of the start menu icons has been taken out due to various issues, if you wish to change the shell icons you can do this manually by opening up regedit, open up the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell Icons and create strings named 19-29 and the value of the location of the icon file. Our Review: This application is similar to the powertweak system for Windows. WinOwner has all sorts of options and settings for adjusting in Windows and is similar to the WIN98 control panel. The functions are by far the most useful we have seen - with registry settings and other adjustments this application is a must for those on pre-Win98 computers.
