The paintings of Judson Huss are exquisitely executed in the painstaking style of Dutch Master painters of the 15th and 16th centuries. They glow as if lit by some otherworldly luminescence. With amazing detail and atmosphere, Huss conjures up entire fantastic worlds in each image. His surreal paintings definitely have historic precedents, but his personal vision is simultaneously modern and grounded in the present. Our Review:The River of Mirrors collection contains strange, yet interesting images by Judson Huss. The images are quite unusual, often requiring a second glance, and quite compelling. Would make quite an interesting collection to have. |
