The GotMail? Screen Saver for 95 and NT indicates whether you have unread mail in your inbox. Tell at a glance whether you have new mail and need to sit down after you've been away from your machine for a while, or if you can keep on walking down to the coffee machine. Either a user specified bitmap, text including the number of unread messages, or both are bounced around the screen when the saver is active. GotMail? uses the Windows Messaging API (MAPI) and works in conjunction with Outlook, Exchange, Eudora, or any other MAPI compliant email client. Our Review: GotMail? is an excellent screensaver that performs the simple but highly useful task of checking your email while you are away from your desk. The bouncing message will keep you informed of your email situation via a customisable message. A bitmap can also be displayed in the event of new mail coming through. It makes perfect sense to have this check your email - no time wasted!
