Wacky behavior and family life seem to go hand in hand. Artist Daryl Cagle, who has illustrated for Jim Henson and Sesame Street, has created a series of cartoon images that focuses on the hilarity of the modern American family. Adolescents ignoring their folks, whiny children on car rides and toothbrush-phobic children all add to this colorful mosaic of family life. The images are reminiscent of "Mad" magazine cartoons, that showcase family life (most come with funny descriptions). Recommended if you are into "pop" art. |
