UpTime 2000 places a floating clock on the Windows 2000 desktop that shows the time that the system has been running in real time. It doesn't do much else, but it serves its purpose well. It's a great way to see, at a glance, how stable the OS really is. It has options to stay on top, change colors, and display longest uptime. This is a very small utility that adds a system-tray icon for easy access and uses minimal resources. A transparent option hides the onscreen clock, and hovering the cursor over the tray icon displays a tooltip showing the same information that the floating bar would.
Our Review: Tiny app which does exactly what it says. UpTime 2000 provides a quick and easy way to keep tabs on just how long you have been hunched over your PC. This version only works on Win2K which can be useful to provide info on how long your server or Win2K workstation has been running.
